A set of artificial reefs comprised of three main blocks of stone, linked together by a cable guide, each with around 35 cubic concrete modules piled up along Alvor beach by the IPIMAR 2000, to create an artificial reef.
Its formation makes it an ideal habitat for many juveniles and species that prefer to remain hidden, like congers. However, small shoals of various other species are also common.
The use of a torch is advisable, as this will enable you to peep into the holes in the rocks and see the fantastic colours of the various species of invertebrates and algae clinging to them. To maximize diving time, you should start the dive at the lower blocks and work your way up to the higher ones.
