One of the most interesting dives in this zone. Its name comes from an anchor of the Almirantado which is trapped in the rock formations to the Southwest.
A place with lots of fauna, it can have quite strong currents, influenced by the Arade river, which can hinder visibility. The sandy bottom is around twenty meters, and in the North zone, the rocks can reach as high as four or five meters.
It is common to see conger eels in the fissures in the rock, as crustaceans and scorpion fish among the lower rocks. The higher parts are normally frequented by gilthead bream, seabass and white seabream.
It is a very interesting site, with numerous gorgonians of various sizes and colours, which are well worth visiting many times, in order to fully explore them.
