A small barge of unknown origin, probably belonging to the old Ponta de Almádena quarry, which sank in a storm in front of Burgau. She is straight, well-grounded in the sea bottom, silted over on the outside, with the amount of sand varying one year after the other.
The hull is clear, and is now a refuge for some species and their juveniles. Given the shallow depth and generally good visibility, it is a simple dive that can be carried out without any problems for beginners.
A wide variety of multicoloured species can be seen all along the hull and deck of the small boat, including anemones, spirographs, gorgonians, scorpion fish, various species of goby and gudgeon, cuttlefish, octopus and nudibranch, making this site one of the paradises of the Algarve for macro-photography.
