About Us

We are a group of divers with several cumulated years of recreational and technical diving, seamanship and business management experience. All of us, investors and employees, are part of a project that we make ours. We are committed and determined to make this project a success by offering high quality and safe diving services, protecting our natural assets (flora and fauna), creating jobs and profitable revenues; and promoting the tourism in the Algarve.

SUBNAUTA

Subnauta was founded with the aim of providing a unique Dive Centre in the Portuguese diving market. It is an ambitious project carried out by divers for divers. It offers a range of services that allows safer, more comfortable and higher quality dives. We offer innovative services with technically advanced diving equipment, boats and support to promote our cultural assets and underwater flora and fauna.

We have chosen the Algarve, in particular the western part, to develop our practice due to the excellent diving conditions, quality of infrastructure and local government’s dynamic promotion of tourism in the region. In addition to our desire to serve local divers, it is also our objective to promote all year around tourism, taking advantage of the outstanding diving conditions for the most part of the year to attract Northern European divers.

We are organised as a firm with capital of one million Euros. We have a license to operate as a dive centre and are a tourism orientated organisation - Permit 34/2007. We also are:
